Pricing

One pipeline, one price.

ZeRDA is licensed as IP you deploy in your own AWS account. Pricing is per pipeline, not per byte — so your compliance scope shrinks without your bill growing.

01 Transfer tier

Available today.

One pipeline, license + your AWS. Request a pilot, or contact us if you have a workload that doesn't fit the Transfer tier.

01 Available

Transfer

Single pipeline for point-to-point zero-residency transfers. Available today.

$500/mo
or $5,000/yr — Save ~17%
  • One ZeRDA transfer pipeline
  • Deployed in your AWS account (Terraform)
  • Portal SaaS access — metrics, alerts, license mgmt
  • Full runtime included (all four planes)
  • Air-gap / offline mode supported
  • 19/19 STRIDE-validated architecture

License fee only. You deploy into your own AWS account, so infrastructure cost is paid to AWS directly — approximately $550/mo in AWS services for a single pipeline. Additional pipelines share runtime infrastructure; the license for each incremental pipeline is $216/mo with only marginal added AWS cost.

02 Total cost of ownership

What you actually pay, and what it replaces.

BHTN license + AWS infrastructure = total monthly cost. At 100 TB/month, we benchmark 2–14× cheaper than every comparable alternative — while offering zero residency that none of them match.

Annualized
Total cost · 12 months ~$12,650
Annual license (save ~17%) $5,000

vs what you'd otherwise pay.

Most MFT / secure transfer stacks charge per-seat, per-GB, or as an enterprise license package. ZeRDA replaces the stack entirely — license + AWS is your total, and you get zero residency on top.

Solution Monthly · 100 TB Savings vs ZeRDA
BHTN ZeRDA $1,054/mo baseline
S3 + KMS ~$2,500/mo ~58%
Signiant $3–8K/mo ~65–87%
AWS Transfer Family ~$5,200/mo ~80%
Aspera $5–15K/mo ~79–93%

Competitor costs: vendor-published pricing where available, representative at 100 TB/month equivalent volume. None of the above provide zero-residency; all data transits through or persists in vendor infrastructure.

03 Enterprise

Enterprise ELA

Multi-pipeline, multi-year, custom SLAs, air-gapped deployments, co-development engagements. Typical starting point: 2+ pipelines with annual commitment.

What an ELA typically includes
  • Multi-pipeline licensing
  • Custom SLAs + support tier
  • Air-gapped + offline JWT licensing
  • Co-development and integration support
  • Signed security & compliance documentation
04 FAQ

Common questions.

Do I deploy in my own AWS account?

Yes. The runtime is customer-hosted. You own the data path and the compliance posture. BHTN provides the Terraform modules, the runtime, and the portal SaaS.

What's actually included in a tier?

Terraform modules, the full runtime (all four planes), access to the BHTN portal for metrics and licensing, and a license key. Support tier depends on contract.

What does this cost in total, including AWS?

Our benchmark shows a single Transfer pipeline runs on approximately $554/mo of AWS services at 100 TB/month. Added to the $500/mo license, total cost of ownership is ~$1,054/mo — still 2–14× cheaper than every comparable managed-file-transfer alternative.

Can I deploy air-gapped?

Yes. Offline mode uses a signed JWT license file — no outbound beacon calls. Typical for defense, intelligence, and some financial-sector deployments.

Monthly vs annual?

Annual pricing reflects a discount equivalent to roughly two months. Multi-year and ELA pricing is negotiated directly.

What about streaming, storage, or compute workloads?

Those are scoped and piloted directly. Reach out with your workload profile and we will match it to the right engagement.

Do you support custom integrations?

Yes — under Enterprise ELA. Typical integrations include existing MFT systems, SIEM / audit logging, and bespoke authorization flows.
